High-Density CDU with CoolXcel™

 CoolXcel™ is DCTS’s brand new premium in-rack Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU), engineered to deliver high-capacity liquid cooling for AI clusters, high-performance computing environments, and next-generation data centers. Designed for applications where both performance and footprint matter, CoolXcel provides up to 135kW of heat dissipation in an exceptionally compact 4U form factor. 

Built with a one-duty, one-standby pump configuration, CoolXcel™ is designed to ensure continuous operation and greater system resilience in mission-critical environments. 

Its compact in-rack architecture helps maximize usable white space while supporting high-density deployments that demand stable, responsive thermal control. 

At full load, the system maintains an 8°C approach temperature at 135kW, enabling efficient heat transfer in a highly integrated package. 

CoolXcel™ combines high-capacity cooling with intelligent system protection. 

With support for primary water supply temperatures up to 45°C, primary flow up to 150 LPM, and secondary cooling liquid flow from 10 to 140 LPM, the unit is built to operate across a broad range of demanding cooling conditions. 

Precision monitoring and control are supported by an ultrasonic flowmeter, while dew point control, leakage rope detection, and a stainless steel drain pan help protect both the unit and surrounding equipment. 

Engineered for long-term reliability and serviceability, standard CoolXcel™ includes an external 25-micron filter, 1L expansion tank, 2L water tank, and make-up/waste water outlet for easier maintenance and stable operation. 

The system is designed with a target MTBF of over 40,000 hours, and the pumps alternate operation every 48 hours to promote balanced wear and dependable long-term performance.
